21. Hong Kong

Since Hong Kong was once a British territory, they have adopted most of the Christmas traditions we know and love in the West. You will find many English speakers living there while you are shopping, but most of them speak Chinese. Walking through the streets, you will find big Christmas displays. If you have kids, you may want to watch the elaborate Christmas at Hong Kong Disneyland. Besides, if you’re a massive fan of Disney, this could be a great experience, especially compared to the parks we have here in the United States.

One of the best things about visiting Hong Kong in December is the average weather is between 60 and 70 degrees. So you can enjoy the cold weather and get rid of every possible ice and snow at home. There are also very affordable gifts to buy. (After all, many of the things we buy online in the US are made in Hong Kong.) You might want to spend as much or as little money on luxury hotels as you choose, or save money by eating from local food-grade vendors.
