14. Talk to yourself

You know about your inner critic. You may be your worst critic when most people fall into this category. You make a mistake, and you think it’s ridiculous or stupid. You tell yourself that you know better. You apologize to anyone affected. You can say to yourself other negative things or find yourself awake at night thinking about what happened and how you let it happen.

It time to stop putting yourself down. There is enough negativity going on without you bringing anything into your mind and environment. Instead of seeing a mistake as a negative step, you need to see it as a way to grow. Tell yourself, and you will get it next time because you understand the process better.
