8. Film, Edit, and Watch Home Movies
Many years ago, only a handful of parents could afford to buy a camcorder to film birthday parties and special events. Now, everyone has a camera on their phone. We might take time to shoot the clips, but not everyone thinks about shooting a full family movie home as they did in the good old days. This can be a really fun project to do with your kids and for the whole family.
If you own a Mac, you might already own a video editing software like iMovie or Final Cut Pro. Whenever your child shoots a family movie, gather together as a family to watch it. You never know if this could be the beginning of a budding film career. Or at least, you’ll have some fun memories to look back on.
