Maybe you go to a thrift store and find the most beautiful classic chair, but the chair is broken. In this case, it will lead to sadness and disappointment for such a beautiful chair. However, if you are keen on the idea of having a vintage garden, broken chairs can be a huge bonus. They make be used as a lifter for your short plants. Put a basin into the damaged part of the chair and fill it with whatever type of plants you want. Even functional old chairs can be turned into lovely plant racks, especially if you paint them in fun colors.
