16. Tiles
Tilework is a general characteristic in typical Grecian homes, both on walls and floors. On floors, tilework supports to retain a bit of coolness while the harsh Greek summers. Moreover, the tile floors frequently have the traditional Meandros or Greek key pattern in the homes of wealthy Greeks.
The ideal spaces to add a lovely white and blue Greek-inspired tile backsplash are the kitchen backsplash or tub surround. If you live in an area where tiled floors are popular, a blue and white patterned tile floor in the kitchen or bathroom would be a beautiful highlight to the Greek aesthetic.
