3. Olive Trees

Olives are a core part of the economy and culture of Greece. Having a lovely olive tree indoors brings an essential part of Greece into your home. Olives can be grown outdoors by homeowners in USDA zones 10 and 11. Meanwhile, others have to keep their plants indoors in the winter.

The very sight of an olive tree will add a Mediterranean flair to your house, whether by a planted real tree or a realistic faux tree. To recreate the Mediterranean feeling better, combine fake trees with olive blossom candles or incense. Several nurseries often sell olive trees that can be grown indoors!
