Doris Day – Move Over Darling
While filming “Move Over Darling,” James Garner accidentally broke two of Doris Day’s ribs, leaving her “mummified with adhesive tape” and in discomfort.
Despite the mishap, the two remained friends. Doris later joked, “Jim, if we don’t speak for a while, I forgive you for breaking my ribs. Both.”
