Angela Bassett
Angela Bassett was always best known for her roles in biopic films; however, after playing Tina Turner in What’s Love Got To Do With It?, Bassett became an award-winning actress. Having won a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award for that role, Bassett went on to portray Katherine Jackson in The Jacksons: An American Dream, Betty Shabazz in Malcolm X, and Rosa Parks in The Rosa Parks Story.
