Lori Singer

Lori Singer, born to a very musical family in Texas, was first noticed when she played a dancer between 1982 and 1983 on the television series Fame. In fact, the role on Fame was created especially for her. The singer went on to prove herself in dancing, singing, and acting, which landed her the role of Ariel Moore—the lead part in the classic film Footloose. Some of her other notable performances include The Falcon, The Man With One Red Shoe, and The Snowman.
