Jacqueline Bisset
Jacqueline Bisset was a dancer before she began acting but found it was easier to support herself as a model. Her first film role was in 1966’s Cul-de-sac, but she really hit the big time when she was cast in Airplane, a role she handled with facility opposite the well-known singer Dean Martin. Bisset hasn’t slowed down since and is still appearing in films even at 72. In 2010, Bisset was honored by the French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, with the Legion d’honneur, celebrating her work as an actress.
