Tonya Harding

Tonya Harding was an American figure skater who gained renown in the early 1990s when she landed one of the most difficult jumps one can perform on the ice, the triple axel. Her competitive legacy was overshadowed, however, when she was linked to an attack on fellow American skater Nancy Kerrigan. Kerrigan bounced back from her injuries, showing up Harding in the 1994 Olympics. Harding lives a quiet life away from the spotlight now but recently had a film made about her career.
