She moved frequently as a child, living in places like London, Florida, and Puerto Rico, attending many schools. Principal embarked upon her career at the age of 5 and started in TV commercials. When she first moved to Hollywood in 1970, she was completely broke. She has since become one of the most beloved actresses.
