In 2014, Mama June decided to rekindle her relationship with Mark McDaniel, who had just been released from prison after being involved in an inappropriate relationship with another of Mama June’s daughters, Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell. As a result of this disturbing development, the TV series was eventually canceled.
