23. Splinters and baking soda

Oh, how we despise those tiny splinters under our skin that are so persistent and uncomfortable. They are harmful and inconvenient, but if kept inside the skin for too long, they can cause even more issues.

On which applied to the skin as a paste with water for a few minutes, baking soda helps to “swell” the skin, bringing the splinter to the surface and making it easy to remove. If the paste does not work the first time, you can apply it, cover it with a band-aid, and leave it for a day.
