Boy George’s False Imprisonment

English singer Boy George has encountered several legal problems, largely stemming from his prolonged struggles with addiction. In 2005, he faced charges for falsely reporting a burglary; in the subsequent year, a warrant was issued for his arrest as he failed to appear in court.

However, the most severe legal issue involved the false imprisonment and assault of a Norwegian model by the Culture Club singer. Allegedly, Boy George restrained the model and subjected him to physical abuse using a metal chain. As a consequence of these crimes, he was sentenced to four months in prison.
