24.Unless They are Never Worn
The only exception is if you never wear warm underwear. Maybe you don’t need a drawer full of turtlenecks, sweater tights, and leggings because you live in a friendly environment. Perhaps you do live in a chilly climate, but you never seem to wear the clothing you’ve been saving. Get rid of them if this is the case. Donate them to a charity (such as a homeless shelter, where you appreciate the warm clothes) or a thrift store if they are in good shape. Here is what you should do if those clothes are not enough to keep you warm.
The fact that they will assist someone else may then warm your heart. It’s usually a good idea to maintain a few of these items on hand, but you can pare down your collection if you don’t wear them very often. You will be OK with two warm tops and one pair of warm leggings. If the weather calls for it, you can always layer up with more sweaters and coats. If not, you have just freed up a lot of room in your closet; but, do not fill it up with unneeded and unused things again! When it comes to cupboard organization, that would be detrimental.
