14. Get rid of Your “Later” Items

Almost everyone has items in the home closet that you hope you’ll wear one day when you lose weight or become fitter. Besides, you might think that you will have the opportunity to wear a special item that you think is beautiful at one point in your life. However, this is a habit we think you need to stop! When you’re going through all your clothes, take out the things you just kept because you think you’ll use it later.

Imagine what the future will be like in these imaginative situations. If you lose weight, you will probably want to redo your entire closet completely. Is a dress going to matter? Or if you’re invited to a luxury event where you want to wear something fashionable, do you really want to wear a style that’s several years old? If it’s still hard to break up with these items, set them aside in the storage for more space.
