Water temperature plays a vital role in keeping your clothes looking new. It is thought that the more you wash, the older your clothes will become. However, if you use the proper water temperature, your clothes will always look new. Coldwater washing is best for fabrics with delicate textures and colors. You can use cold water to wash dirty, dark fabrics. Hard water will also save you money.

Warm water should be used skillfully. It is suitable for permanently laminated fabrics or synthetic fabrics. To remove rough blemishes is the best option, warm water with a good detergent. Used, old or frayed clothing, bed sheets, pillowcases, socks, children’s clothing, and sportswear should be washed in hot water. It may not protect the garment too much but will clean it for the best. Cellulose, cotton, and wool fibers are some of the fragile fabrics most affected by water temperature, and make sure you wash such materials at the proper water temperature.
