31. Using Annuals to fill Some Gaps
The appearance of a few bald spots is almost inevitable no matter how carefully you plan. Maybe the tree will die, grow in a direction you don’t intend, or not grow. Don’t worry, and we can repair and maintain it every year! It would be best not to underestimate annual plants because they are hardy enough to transplant throughout the summer, even in hot conditions.
Just make sure you water them regularly for several weeks while their roots are clinging to your soil. By using annuals to fill some gaps in your perennial garden, you’ll add color as well as foliage. When the annual dies, you can replace it in the fall with another perennial for a lovely spring look.
