9. Don’t cut your grass too short.

It’s natural to want to mow your lawn as short as possible so that you don’t have to trim it again for a long time. Giving your grass a buzz cut every time you mow, on the other hand, can harm your garden over time, especially if you have a grass variety that doesn’t enjoy short mowing, such as the Bermudas.

While some tough grasses can be mowed short, Bermudas and Fescues should not be mowed any more straightforward than three to four inches tall. Mowing the grass any faster might harm it and make it susceptible to disease and pest infestation. It can also cause long-term damage to the grass by dehydrating it.
