Do I Know You?
First dates and alcohol don’t always mix well, especially when someone crosses the line from confident to completely confused. That’s exactly what happened to Thomas. He showed up for a date, clearly already drunk, and stared at his companion with the puzzled curiosity of a man trying to solve a riddle. “Do I know you?” he asked, completely forgetting why he was even there in the first place.
For his poor date, it was a moment that was both baffling and a little insulting. Being forgotten mid-date is never a good sign. Still, instead of storming off, she chose to lean into the weirdness and wait to see when it would finally click. Maybe she had a sense of humor, or maybe she just wanted a good story. Either way, we hope Thomas sobered up — and hopefully sent a sincere apology afterward. First impressions matter, especially when they’re coherent.
