Not That Kind Of Date
Knowing the plan for a date is pretty important. It helps you dress appropriately and mentally prepare for the vibe. Unfortunately, this woman didn’t get the memo. She thought she was attending a casual hangout or dinner, only to show up to a formal event she wasn’t prepared for — or worse, the complete wrong type of date entirely.
The misunderstanding might’ve been on her date’s end. A little more clarity would’ve gone a long way in avoiding the awkward situation. Still, she handled it like a champ and stayed enthusiastic, even if she stuck out like a sore thumb. If her date was the right kind of guy, he wouldn’t have cared about the mix-up — and maybe even found it endearing. First dates can be unpredictable, but clear communication could save you from fashion faux pas, mismatched plans, and sitting through three hours of something you weren’t expecting.
