Surprise!
Imagine getting dressed up for a first date, walking up to the door, and realizing you’ve been set up — with the wrong person. That’s what happened to Seth. He thought he was meeting someone new, only to discover he’d been matched with a much older woman who clearly had no idea about the switch either. Cue the internal panic and external awkward smiles.
It was one of those situations where no one really knew how to react. Seth didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, especially not someone who was genuinely excited for the evening. So he did the noble thing — he went through with the date. Hopefully, he made it a pleasant one, even if there wasn’t a romantic connection. Some surprises can be funny in hindsight. Others are just plain confusing. But in this case, at least he has a heartwarming and slightly hilarious story to tell forever.
