Some people are terrible with names. Others struggle with faces. For this guy, it was clearly the latter. When his date showed up, he didn’t recognize her — at all. Instead of rushing to greet her, he watched from a distance as she wandered around, looking for him. To his credit, he found it kind of funny and waited to see how long it would take her to figure it out.
Eventually, he called out to her, and the moment became a lighthearted story they could laugh about later. In fact, they laughed all the way to a second date — and even further. They ended up together, and this little mix-up turned into one of their favorite “how we met” stories. Sometimes, it’s the slightly awkward beginnings that become the most memorable. Love doesn’t always start with instant recognition — sometimes, it starts with a little confusion and a lot of charm.
