Ran Out of Paint
When staying at hotels, we usually expect to be pampered with comfortable rooms and luxurious amenities. However, one hotel seems to be an exception to this rule. From creaky floorboards to a pool with flies swimming in it, it’s safe to say that this hotel’s maintenance leaves much to be desired. But perhaps the most noticeable flaw of all is the condition of the walls. With smears and stains all over, it almost looks like someone had intentionally vandalized them.
When inquiring about the inspiration for this design choice, the front desk cited a shortage of paint as the reason. While this may explain the hotel’s lack of effort in maintaining its walls, it’s clear that their solution has not been well-received. Many would argue that leaving the walls bare or using neutral colors would have been a better choice than resorting to smears and stains. Hopefully, this hotel will invest in better maintenance and upkeep in the future.
