14. Backyard
The backyard of Graceland is a great spot to visit. The large green lawn is the first thing you notice when you step outdoors. It spanned the entirety of the land and was the focal point of numerous activities. Elvis and his pals engaged in wild touch football games, go-cart and golf cart races, and lawn firework skirmishes. He had a snowmobile modified to drive on grass, which must have made life difficult for his landscapers.
The Presley Family Memorial and Meditation Garden, a favorite of visitors to Graceland, is located in the backyard. You can view Elvis’ pasture and horse stables, as well as his carport, which housed several of his favorite autos and motorcycles, as you walk across the mansion’s grounds.
