The inspiration for Paul Simon’s hit song Graceland was at Elvis’s mansion. Simon describes Graceland as a mecca in the lyrics. The Grammy Award – Record of the Year belonged to Graceland in 1987. Marc Cohn’s hit song Walking in Memphis refers to Graceland and the iconic Jungle Room. Besides, some movies refer to Graceland, like 3000 Miles to Graceland and Finding Graceland.

Before Elvis passed away, two of his albums released marked his beloved home. Published in 1974, Elvis Recorded Live on Stage in Memphis featured Graceland on its cover. Furthermore, from Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis, Tennessee, was released in 1976, taking its name from Graceland’s street. The title refers to how Elvis recorded the album in his studio in Graceland.
