Graceland is a stunning two-story mansion with over 10,266 square feet. Throughout the years, it has increased up to 17,552 square feet. The mansion was constructed on a hill, with rolling grasslands in front and behind. It has a view of the Mississippi River to the west and a curved driveway that loops around. The structure is surrounded by a wall made of pink Alabama fieldstone. The house is built in the Classical Revival style and features an asphalt shingled side-facing gabled roof. A chimney can be seen on the north side of the house, while another can be found on the south side. Mississippi Tishomingo limestone is used for veneering the front and sides of the house.
