The Value of Friendship
When going on a first date, it’s normal to want to impress that person. You shouldn’t lie about your life and your means, but you don’t want them to know about your messy studio apartment or broken-down car right off the bat.
The bad friend is clearly the one borrowing the car, since he feels he has a right to keep it however long he wants after the owner clearly told him no. We doubt he ever got to borrow the car after this incident.
Watch Your Back
Relationships between coworker friends are a little weird. You never know how much you can really tell them or how much of your personal life to share. But, you don’t usually feel entitled to ask massive favors of ones you don’t know very well.
This person decided to go for it anyway, and then resorted to petty threats when their coworker said no. This person sounds like a petty high schooler – not a grown adult working in an office. Grow up, lady.
