This woman’s street style perfectly encapsulates the era in which it was captured—over-the-top, slightly unflattering, and, in some ways, awkward to behold. However, if we deconstruct her ensemble and mentally separate its components, we might find some redeeming qualities.
For instance, those blue satin high boots could have been quite chic if paired with a plain, sleek outfit. The same applies to the shirt, which, when styled differently, could have been fashion-forward. As for the jean skirt, well, perhaps it’s best left in the ’80s.
