We all love to rock a pair of fishnet stockings occasionally, but how would you feel about donning an entire shirt constructed entirely of mesh nets? If your immediate reaction is to recoil in horror, you’re in good company! The ’80s, however, seemed to have a penchant for outfits featuring ample mesh.
Mesh shirts, constructed entirely of this perforated material, were often paired with pants, and believe it or not, they were considered trendy during that time. While there’s no denying the appeal of fishnet stockings, we’re firmly in favor of leaving the mesh net shirts right where they belong—in the ’80s!
