21. Child’s Picnic Table
Although you can also make an adult-sized picnic table out of 2x4s, a small child’s picnic table is a perfect starting point for new woodworkers. With 2x4s, building a classic, old-fashioned wooden picnic table is very easy. Therefore, it is simpler to calculate, cut, and assemble at a child’s height and remains at a more manageable weight for movement. When you have mastered the scale of a child’s table, nothing keeps you from switching to an adult-sized table to add some decks to the next barbecue in the backyard!
