The notion that women talk more than men is a misconception that should be dispelled. Unfortunately, the artist of this bathroom sign perpetuated this stereotype. In reality, both men and women can be equally talkative, depending on the individual.
Furthermore, this sign not only reinforces stereotypes but can potentially confuse restroom users. Instead of using offensive labels, a more neutral and straightforward signage approach would have been preferable.
