Many people try to look out for their future selves while planning a wedding. They’ll devise a solution and create mental or written lists of possible worst-case scenarios. Will my veil rip? I’ll bring a backup! What if the cake topples over? We’ll have backup cupcakes! Planning for the worst is practical, in theory, at least.
However, sometimes, you can’t plan for the unexpected, no matter how hard you try. Remember how we were just talking about bad omens? Instead of letting an electrical fire with an evacuation of the building ruin their celebration, this happy couple made the best of it. They took the meaning of “shackled” to heart. Since they survived an electrical fire, hopefully, they’ll be able to survive anything!
