14. Backsplashes with a lot of color
Clean, white subway tile backsplashes are simply stunning in almost every kitchen, no one can deny that. They have, however, been done to death and could benefit from a new refinishing. Bold designs with splashes of bright colors will liven up kitchens this year and add a touch of glitz. Graphic tiles, particularly those with pops of unique colors like teal, plum, or one of the primary colors, will make a huge comeback. A splash of vibrant color in the backsplash brightens up a white and stainless kitchen.
