18. Rubber Tree
Rubber trees may emit milky white pus from the trunk and bark if marked or broken. Although it is no longer a source of rubber or commercial latex, please note that latex is a skin irritant and toxic to both humans and pets. The rubber tree is a beautiful indoor plant, with large and thick leaves, from dark green to almost black magenta. Thanks to its size and thick leaves, it is an excellent oxygen generator and excels at eliminating common household air pollutants.
