Fiddle Leaf Fig - Houseplants

30. Fiddle Leaf Fig

Another relative of another Ficus on this list, Rubber tree, Ficus elastica, this Ficus has beautiful, large, hard leaves that resemble the shape of a violin, hence the name Fiddle. These tropical plants can reach enormous sizes in gardens and botanical gardens, with some specimens filling the entire domed rooms. These relatively fast-growing plants are quite easy to care for, requiring strong light but only occasional watering. As plants with large leaves, they are excellent oxygen and also excel at reducing common household pollutants, especially carbon dioxide.
