31. Ardisia
The Ardisia family is relatively new in the context of houseplants, which is a common shrub in parts of Asia. They are commonly known as Christmasberry, thanks to their deep purple berries and evergreen leaves. As a note, some species of Ardisia are invasive in the southern United States, so take them outdoors with great care. A large Ardisia, evergreen woody plants, like Figs Leaf Figs or Rubber Plants, is an ideal oxygen generator. They also grow rapidly when provided with plenty of water and direct sunlight. They will reward growers tending with beautiful white flowers that result in inedible berries.
