For Retail?
In large retail stores, employees are often identifiable by their store shirts, which clearly indicate their affiliation with the establishment. Retail workers are relatively uncommon to be subjected to strict rules that dictate a change in their physical appearance.
The absurdity of this rule was not lost on the employee, and it’s entirely reasonable that they were unwilling to comply. Moreover, one must question why this rule was not communicated before the start of their shift if it was so rigidly enforced.
