Recently, numerous stories have been of companies making morally questionable decisions regarding laying off employees. This particular office’s actions must have crossed a significant ethical line.
It was severe enough that these individuals could no longer justify associating themselves with the company, even though they managed to retain their jobs while others were laid off. It’s worth noting that long-time employees likely invested a significant portion of their careers with the company.
