Going Too Far
When a partner is facing health issues, it’s natural to need time off to provide support. It’s a fundamental part of any partnership. Many couples navigate such challenges successfully, often with the help of understanding and compassionate employers.

Unfortunately, in this instance, the employer displayed a complete lack of empathy or understanding of what this person’s wife was going through. Such disrespectful and heartless comments are understandably unacceptable, and quitting in response to such insensitivity is entirely justifiable.
