A Few Red Flags
When embarking on a new job, individuals typically have certain expectations regarding the scope of their roles and responsibilities. However, for the person in question who applied for a position as a secretary, the job description appeared to be far from what they had anticipated. Instead of the role they signed up for, they were burdened with many additional tasks and duties.
What made matters even more disheartening was that despite taking on these extra responsibilities, they did not receive the promised increase in compensation. While there might not have been a dramatic “I quit” moment, it’s evident that the individual they were replacing had been teetering on the brink of such a decision for quite some time, likely due to the accumulation of these red flags.
