26. Purple Is, Unsurprisingly, a Running Theme
The Prince and the purple are quite inseparable. In addition to the movie and the song Purple Rain, the singer often wears garish, wild costumes with many different shades of purple. He placed a famous purple custom piano from Yamaha, now commemorated inside his ashes container.
Purple is also a theme in Paisley Park, from exterior lighting that makes the whole compound glow purple at night to purple furniture and indoor accents. Many of his iconic purple costumes are on display, and purple furniture and decorations, especially velvet, appear throughout the space.
