21. Harris Clay House

You do not hear wrong because this is the house owned by Harris Clay. It is one of the gorgeous houses ever built in Augusta, Georgia. Today, the property is 3 acres. The house occupied an entire block of town when he started making it in 1890. President William Howard Taft was often a guest of Clay House and a good friend of the Clay family.

Although the property is technically “abandoned” in the sense that no one lives there embedded, it is still in the current owner’s care. The house’s current market price is $1,559,000. Most rooms have fireplaces. Amazing mature gardens and workshops throughout the property that you can’t find anymore. Although the property was gorgeous, it took a lot of work. Although it is a historical masterpiece, no one has bought it yet.
