Close Your Eyes… Your Majesty
In a notably intimate scene, Meghan Markle portrays Rachel Zane in bed with Patrick J. Adams as Michael Ross. If the Queen happened to miss this, we strongly suspect she consciously chose not to view it. This is especially noteworthy because Adams fervently came to the defense of his former co-star following the airing of the candid interview with Oprah in early March 2021. He took to Twitter to convey his perspective on the bullying allegations aimed at Meghan by palace staff.
In a series of extensive tweets, Adams expressed, “Meghan Markle and I worked side by side on ‘Suits’ for the better part of a decade. From day one, she exuded enthusiasm, kindness, cooperation, generosity, joyfulness, and unwavering support… She embarked on a journey of love, relocated to a new country, gained worldwide recognition, and embarked on the challenging task of navigating her role within a family dynamic that, at its best, can be described as intricate and, at its worst, appears antiquated and detrimental.” It’s utterly reprehensible that the Royal Family, with their latest member on the way, is actively endorsing and magnifying allegations of ‘bullying’ against a woman who was compelled to leave the UK to shield her family and preserve her mental well-being.
