15. First Edition Books Collection
Some people are huge fans of their favorite writers, and to get first edition novels, they are willing to pay a ton of money. These are very rare, and they are hard to locate. But if you happen to find one in your attic, be sure to see exactly what the book was written on the first few pages. The first printings are the most valuable first editions. In particular, as most deals have very few prints of their books made before they succeed, these are extremely rare.
And if a book is not the first edition, an earlier edition with an excellent cover may still exist or be highly collectible. Such rare books can vary from a few hundred dollars to tens of thousands of dollars. Often search the prices of sales that have ended in the past on eBay and book auctions to compare.
