13. Old Musical Instruments
Was someone musically talented in your family? There is a possibility that you would be able to sell an instrument online. Some musical instruments are much more costly than others. Prices differ depending on where it was manufactured, what material it’s made of, and so much more. Still, look up the brand’s name. If the character can’t be identified, search for a marking within a string instrument. Most woodwinds have the outside stamped with the word.
You may need someone to do a local pickup, depending on the distance. But it is easy for those instruments to sell for a few hundred dollars, or up to a few thousand. So the effort to sell it would be worth it if you find a buyer.
