People wanted to sit in their living rooms before the invention of television and listen to the radio. Getting big radios that looked like furniture, or sleek little boxes you might have on your countertop, was all the rage back then. We never listen to the radio today unless it’s on a long road trip. But these retro electronics, combined with home decor, still look cute.
