13. Skulls and Antlers  

You’ll find plenty of taxidermy in people’s homes in England and France. The original European settlers in Australia were from the UK. But in such a hot climate, it was not easy for humans to hang on to all taxidermy species. Like the old western United States, skulls and antlers’ collection became more common.

You do not see bones hanging on the walls of a seaside home here in the USA. That’s what we generally associate with Western culture. But somehow, it looks beautiful, blended with the bohemian flair of a surf shack. It is a natural element, just like everything else in the home, that brings out the color scheme of the other décor.
