Alone, Scared
When someone tells you that they’re at the hospital, it’s natural to assume the worst. This is precisely the response that one guy received when he told his girlfriend not to wait up for him because he was at the hospital. Understandably concerned, his girlfriend asked if everything was okay. However, instead of telling her what was going on, he decided to have a bit of fun at her expense by playing a prank on her. He informed her that his cousin couldn’t speak or walk, leaving her shocked and worried.
Finally, he revealed the truth to her, explaining that his cousin was born just two hours ago and that everything was fine. While the joke may have been amusing to him, it was not so for his girlfriend. Her heart almost stopped beating while waiting for his response, and the shock of the prank could have easily caused her unnecessary anxiety and stress. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of being considerate of others and avoiding playing pranks that could be potentially hurtful. While humor can be a great way to lighten the mood and bring people together, it should never come at the expense of others.
